As I read the revised version of CFI’s “Statement on Ground Zero Controversy,” I was shocked by the last statement, “On balance, CFI does not consider houses of worship to be beneficial to humanity, whether they are built at Ground Zero or elsewhere.”  Then it was pointed out to me that in my haste I had read past  the phrase, “on balance.” 
Pat Condell has been releasing some less-than-stellar videos about his opposition to the (close to) Ground Zero Mosque (and community center). At least, I haven’t been a fan of them.
